🖋 Are you looking to spice up your penpal game? Do you have lots of fun inks lying around and don't know what to use them on? Or do you just think this kind of writing looks pretty cool?

Join Aloise (@scissorbooks) for a Beginner's Blackletter Calligraphy Workshop, where we'll be learning the basics of blackletter lettering and italic nib usage!
At the end of this 2-hour workshop, you'll be able to use both a calligraphy marker and an italic nib dip pen to form the basic strokes of upper- and lower-case letters. You will also be making and taking home your very own hand-written greeting card!

In addition to those skills, you'll also receive a calligraphy marker and a wooden nib holder, italic nib, and ink vial set to continue your lettering journey.

✒ Practice sheets, pens, and ink will be provided, but feel free to bring your own inks, italic/stub nib pens, and notebooks/paper (ink-friendly/non-absorbent paper is best).
